Skin Cream Salvaging Totally Burnt Face

Two days outside at the racetrack resulted in lasting memories and a terribly funny to look at sunburn. Each day I was at the track watching from different corners the sun was not really out. It was more or less brisk overcast. It totally tricked me and I ended up with a defined hat line on my forehead and light shadow of where my sunglasses were by the time we were driving home. Just imagine what 8 hours in the sun can do to a person who forgot to put any UV protectant body lotion on prior. Now back at home skin cream has been my saving grace.

I now know what it must feel like to get botox in the forehead. My skin is so tight not to mention red right now. I had stocked up on skin cream from Tegan's Corner Store before leaving which was helpful. It is only a matter of time before the peel process begins. Not looking forward to that one bit. If you live in a state that is as sunny as it is over here in Arizona, then you may want to consider doing what I do to keep my skin healthy and protected from UV rays: start using an SPF rated body lotion daily. I love using body lotion, as I really find that it does so much for my skin. But after finding out the that my favorite brand of lotion also comes in a version that has 30 SPF rated body lotion in it, I was ecstatic, to say the least. You see, this greatly reduces my early morning ritual, which is to get ready, put on my body lotion, and then add the sunscreen. I have found that SPF rated body lotion is actually paramount to the ease of the shampoo and conditioner combination, which I also swear by using when getting ready in the morning and taking a shower. Thanks to this newer SPF rated body lotion, I can easily cut down on ‘getting ready time’ and know that my skin is protected against harmful rays that are being emitted by the sun, which can easily burn it!

I Missed My Daily Bubble Bath

I was recently on a cruise with my best friend and we had a wonderful time. The service was fantastic and the food was great. My only complaint was that I didn’t have the opportunity to take a bubble bath during the entire two weeks. When you’re in the middle of a fabulous vacation, the last thing I should have been thinking about was taking a bubble bath, but I couldn’t help it. I take one literally every day, even if it’s just for a little while. It helps me relax and often times I’ll take a bubble bath before I go to bed, because it helps me sleep. The cabins didn’t have a bath, but instead a small shower and in reality, I should have known before hand by reading the cruise website. I had ordered extra bubble bath from my favorite website online before the cruise, but in the end, I didn’t need it. It definitely won’t go to waste though and the first night we got home, the first thing I did after unpacking my suitcase and throwing a load of wash in the washing machine was take a bath. It was heavenly.

This past weekend my best friends threw me a 'spa' surprise birthday party which included some of my favorite things that I use to pamper myself. It was extremely thoughtful of them, considering the amount of stress I've been under lately with work, so they thought that the relaxation and spa idea was a good one. They bought me some of my favorite body lotion, skin cream, beauty gel and even bubble bath, which top the list of items that I use when I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. Each person created a small gift basket in relation to her gift, and also included other things I could use to relax such as books, new music from my favorite artists, chocolate, and coffee.

It was truly one of the most special days of my life and we've already set a date for our day at the spa and I can't wait. This is what friendship is all about and I'm so grateful to have these girls in my life.

It was just a few weeks ago when a good friend told me about an online superstore she had been shopping at. For the last few years, I have taken to collecting different high end body lotions. Through my desire for the perfect collection, I have learned a great deal about shopping, what I have come to terms with after all of my research is that shopping online is the way to go. Made Her Dream of a Home Salon a Reality

This morning my husband was my sister’s first customer in her new home salon. She’s been talking about having her own home salon for years, but six months ago I finally asked her what she was waiting on. I told her that life wasn’t getting any longer and that the time was going to pass whether she was reaching her goals or not, so if she wanted the home salon, it was time to start making it come to pass. I think that moment was a proverbial light bulb moment for my sister, because from that point on, she started pouring her heart and soul into bringing the home salon to life. She ordered many new products from online, where she found she can get everything she needs for great prices. From there, she had business cards printed and even had a few towels made with her salon logo. This morning all the hard work and preparation came to pass when she opened the doors of the home salon. I have never been huge on long and time consuming beauty rituals. I have loved taking bubble bath since before I can remember. My mom told me that I used to splash and swim among the bubbles and that when it was time to get out, she would have to barter with me to get me out of the bath. My husband and I spent the long weekend away with friends and I had one of the best times of my life. For years we’ve talked about renting a hotel and spending the weekend along the beach and watching the fireworks, and that’s finally what we decided to do this year. I took along some of my favorite bubble bath, because I knew after a long day at the beach every day that I would want to run a cool bubble bath and relax. That’s exactly what I did, each one of the three nights we stayed. On the night of the 4^th, I actually had my bubble bath before the fireworks began and we sat outside on the balcony and watched them. We were away from the crowds and it was pleasant. Bubble Bath Perfect after Long Run

My husband asked me what I was thinking about yesterday afternoon when I insisted that I go running after dinner. It had been a scorcher yesterday and he felt that it was much too warm for me to get out and run, but I insisted. When my girlfriend puts her mind on something she does not stop until she has done it or exhausted every possibility in trying to accomplish it. We were sitting on the couch and watching some show about super custom homes and the work that went into building them. Every single one of the homes featured took years to build and fit into the category of mansion. It is amazing what money can buy you these days. There was an inventor of some sort who lived with his three sons. They had everything from a slide from the second floor into the great room to retina scanners that unlocked all the outside to inside doors. That was my favorite house. My girlfriend’s favorite featured a lady who designed her own at-home salon in her bedroom. Along with a walk in closet the size of a master bedroom, there was a large space with heated tiles and mirrors set up exclusively for getting ready in the morning. It looked somewhat similar to a warm dressing room with the lights around the main mirror and swivel bench.

I just adore my sister, and I decided on Mother’s Day this year to really get her something that was very nice, and that she would not normally buy on her own, but that she could really use to have some more of: some designer body lotion. From a very early age I have been taught to take really good care of my skin. I can remember watching my mother get ready in the mornings and slowly taking in all of the intricacies of everything that she did. One thing that I remember above all others is all of her skin creams, gels and cleansers. My mother was very good about explaining to me what exactly it was that she did every morning and even let me use some of her products.

These days, I follow in my mom's footsteps and have my own beauty regiment every morning. I have built up a great collection of skin creams just like my mom used to have and for taking such good care of my skin, I have noticed that I have very small pores and soft supple skin. After a long day of work and school, all I ever seem to want to do these days is take bubble baths. I think that I never even realized how many different skin creams that my wife and I would easily go through until we started shopping online for them. After years and years of going to the local beauty salon, I realized that the money I was spending there could be easily applied to buying salon worthy items and making my own home salon. I love that I am being more intelligent and creative with my time and money. I wish that I would have made the decision to create a home salon sooner because not only am I looking good, I have also come up with some great ways to spend time with my friends and female family members.

It is quite often that my friends and I have beauty days and even old fashioned beauty sleep overs. When my friends come over to get beautifies in my home salon, they always have a great time and leave looking better than when they first arrived. I have everything that a girl could dream of in my home salon and by buying all of my items online, I have saved an unimaginable amount of money. My Bubble Baths Are A True Retreat

Like most women my age, I have been finding it very difficult to find time in the day to rejuvenate myself and relax a little. For me, screaming kids, work and a hungry husband always seem to be in high quantity. The only time that I seem to have really all to myself, is when I am soaking in a luxurious bubble bath. No one knocks on the door and the screaming and playing seems to seize. Everyone knows that when mom is taking a bubble bath, they leave her alone.

I honestly do not know how anyone could keep their sanity without taking a little reprieve every now and again. I know that for me, taking the time out of my day to indulge in my beloved bubble baths is something that I really need to do emotionally, physically and mentally. If I did not take the proper care of myself, I know that my ability to properly care for my family and do my work well. He Cooked and Ran the Bubble Bath

Last night when I arrived home after a long day, I found that when I walked in the door that my husband was running me a bubble bath and had a glass of sparkling water with a strawberry in it next to the tub. I had called him on the way home to let him know that I was running a little late, and the one thing that I mentioned was that I had a stressful day and that after dinner I was going to spend some time soaking in a bubble bath to try and distress.

He decided to make my life easier, he’d let me take the bubble bath as soon as I got in and that he’d be the one to cook. I was so stressed that I couldn’t say anything without crying, so I just gave him a hug and headed straight to the bubble bath.
